Hello Clevver friends! I’m Joslyn Davis bringing the you latest on the Jonas Brothers. The guys are hotter than ever and are definitely on top which is obviously great-but now there is no place to go but down. The bros are currently rockin the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and the article inside asks the question: What will happen when young females stop screaming for more from Nick, Joe and Kevin?
Well here’s what you might be surprised to hear. The guys are completely realistic about the fact that they are teen idols. And they understand that because they are placed in that bubble, they are you going to have to work extra hard to be considered serious artists. Either way though, the Bros aren’t obsessing about being teen idols or being serious artists, they are just focusing on making what they hope others will think is great music. Their new LP “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” came in at number one in sales in its first week and their current tour is almost sold out-but the Jonas Brothers are hoping to get musical credibiltiy in the long run. It’s a tough feat, but it is possible. Rolling Stone sites artists like Justin Timberlake, the Beatles and Christina Aguilera as people who have risen above and beyond mere teen idol status.
I’d say that landing the cover of Rolling Stone, not just once but twice is something of compliment from the music industry. The pictures inside the article are amazing and show the guys in a variety of shots, both as a group and alone. Just one question though, what do you guys think of the leather newsboy cap that Joe is wearing on the cover? He looks like he might even be questioning it’s cool factor? SO, Is it a fashion hit of a fashion miss. You decide and let us know in the comments section.
